Stalos: Yea, honestly the incentive of buying a home console this generation is next to none. The emphasis placed on the consoles’ secondary features such as digital content made me dubious about what they had to offer because it only indicates that their lacking in something worthwhile in regards to actual games. Been browsing through some sites, and a statement was made that people are continually kept under the impression that E3 would only be a convention to showcase only games because of past trends, and that anything else would be considered out of place.

Fair enough. But it still doesn’t change the fact that everything was unimpressive. I mean seriously… WiiMusic? New WiiSports? lolfuckoff

A lot of good games that are initially exclusive for home consoles are eventually ported to PC anyhow, and they end up playing better.

Was actually talking to a friend about this last night and yea, basically just came to the conclusion that all that’s worth it for this year’s upcoming games was already announced far before E3. In short, there was nothing fresh to bring to the table, and so we probably can’t blame them as much…. though Nintendo’s conference was just downright terrible and the worst of the three.

Fallout 3 is looking better than expected, but I’m really hoping that Bethesda doesn’t fuck it up and make it Oblivion with guns. Oblivion was just shit.

Actually haven’t played D2 in a few days (not sure if anybody’s still playing it much) because I’ve been a bit out of it, but I’ll probably have to start working on MF equipment soon. I think I just played until level 87 in like a day or something then decided to take a break.

E3 was pretty bad this year, and it’s kind of disappointing because the few years before it was just getting better. When MS and Sony has to take a third of their time on promoting entertainment features over games, I think it shows a flaw in the extended development cycle for games. The lack of game titles out, and the lack of new good titles to show off after 2 years (3 for Microsoft) is disappointing, and promotes the lack of incentive to purchasing a next gen console.

I think Bowazon’s are still pretty good. I haven’t played in a while, but if you can snatch a Windforce or even Goldstrike I think you’d be set. I still prefer a Javazon with Titan’s Revenge though.

To Love Ru is much better even though they are in the same genre in my opinion.
